This life-long process consists of enhancing physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, and environmental well-being.

It is more than being uncontrolled by illness; wellness is a dynamic process of change and growth. When an individual takes positive control of lifestyle choices and practices good health habits, the wellness process has begun.
